As you have heard, the Loveland Sugar Factory was raided for a meth lab. The Loveland Reporter Herald printed a nice long story about it on September 7th. (The article is at the following link http://www.reporterherald.com/Top-Story.asp?ID=12102) Having inside information on the situation, I thought I would share the facts with you as they come along since the police involved and the Reporter Herald will most likely not address the mistake. First and foremost, there was no lab found as we knew there wouldn't be. The law enforcement broke in to the main office (which has since been re-secured) as well as a neighboring companies building. What they did find was an old Sugar factory chemistry lab used for testing soil, sugar beets, and of course...sugar. I am sure they also found some dirt and spider webs. SOOO...no meth lab found. Jeremy Myers, who is accused of having the lab, DID NOT. He has been falsely accused and has not resided at the apartment for several months. His reputation has been needlessly damaged because of this. It has also further tarnished the reputation of the area and possibly surrounding businesses.
That is all of the information I have to share at this time, but I will keep posting based on the outcome of the case as well as any other important information.
